Legal
Indemnity & Waiver
Mountain and motorsport activities carry serious risks. This page explains the process; it is not the activity-specific waiver and does not record acceptance.
Important: every participating guest must review and sign the current waiver for the booked activity before departure. A parent or legal guardian must complete the required process for a minor.
Risks you should expect
Depending on the activity, risks include falls, collisions, unstable or slippery ground, water, fire, wildlife, equipment failure, changing weather, remoteness, delayed communications and delayed access to medical care. Motorcycle activities can cause serious injury or death.
Your disclosure matters
Tell Glen Lyon about relevant experience, injuries, medical conditions, medication, allergies and accessibility needs. This information is used for safety planning and is handled as sensitive personal information.
Guide authority
The guide may refuse participation, change the route or stop an activity where a guest, equipment or conditions create an unreasonable risk. Guests must wear the required protective equipment and follow safety instructions.
Versioned acceptance
The signed waiver records the document version, activity, guest, time and relevant booking. Updating this website does not alter a waiver already signed for a booking.
Get advice if needed
Do not sign a waiver you do not understand. Ask questions before the activity and obtain independent advice if you are unsure about its legal effect.
